Minister of Music
Mount Carmel Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Minister of Music. The Minister of Music will be responsible for leading, teaching, and building the choir. The Minister of Music will lead and coordinate the choir, soloists, musical specials, or guests, instrumental groups and other matters as considered appropriate. He should have a definite call to the ministry and his doctrinal position will be consistent with the statement of faith set forth in The Baptist Faith and Message.
He should be properly trained for the position through formal education and/or practical experience and must be able to read music. Compensation will be commensurate with education/training experience and will be paid in the form of weekly salary.
